Hot Air Balloon Rides

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Up, up and away in my beautiful balloon 🎶

Many hot air balloon companies have redesigned their baskets to allow access to wheelchair users.

Traditional baskets required passengers to climb over the side of the basket using footholds built into the side, barring those with physical limitations from experiencing the thrill of a hot air balloon ride.

Redesigned baskets have a wide door allowing easy access.

Other features (varies by company) may include lower sides, or clear doors, for increased visibility from chairs, and/or a harness system to secure a wheelchair.

We can arrange balloon flights as a destination vacation, or as an activity within a vacation.

Ballooning companies around the world offer redesigned baskets and more are coming on board every day.

“With the increase in adaptive ski programs throughout the country, and the advances in equipment, adaptive skiing is fast becoming one of the most popular sports.
